I wish, I wish, I wish this guy had been brought to justice (if you can call it that) much sooner. This is another Holocaust book. Like so many others, it tells of how people are easily corrupted, and easily blinded. The Jews in Lwow, Poland honestly didn't believe the atrocities would reach them, that they were safe where they were; a belief that ultimately led to their deaths. It tells of how one man, "the dutchman", whom the Jews of Lwow believed was their friend, ransacked their homes for works of art and had them systematically executed. Then later, how he tried to hide, but was found by a relative of those killed. A good book, but I won't be reading it again.
