Each year rising juniors are referred by a congressional representative and approved by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. The Page program is a highly competitive program. As part of the House staff, Congressional Pages work on the House floor and are assigned to deliver correspondence, legislative materials, and small packages within the congressional complex.
During their stay in Washington, Congressional Pages reside in the House Page Residence on Capitol Hill.
