Loved it! The Callback is the first book in a new contemporary romance series by Brandy L Rivers titled, Love Behind the Scenes. Leona Shay is an author who is looking at selling her movie rights to Hollywood. Luke Chance is a movie star who wants to score a role in her film. An encounter leaves both of them feeling curious about the other. With the help of some friends read on as they navigate the paparazzi while trying to maintain some privacy. Brandy L Rivers is mostly known for her paranormal romance series. And while I do love her both of her Others series and their spinoffs, Brandy has managed to capture the reader’s attention in this contemporary romance. The same character chemistry, strong story line, and zest, is seen in this series. I’m looking forward to reading more in this series.

Every single time I read a contemporary romance by Brandy L. Rivers I fall more in love with the style from her. Leona Shay writes romance but she definitely isn't looking for it. Really, she may not even believe in Happily Ever After anymore. And she REALLY isn't looking for it with an actor whom she believes is only interested in her for a part in the movie she just sold the rights for. Luke Chance wants to meet Leona from the moment he sees her. Yes, he loves her books but his attraction to her is immediate and intense, and has nothing to do with getting a part. Can he convince her that love truly does exist and can happen in just a matter of days? When the going gets rough, will Leona give him the chance to explain things? Once again, Ms. Rivers has written a story that I fell in love with and didn't want to end!!!
