The Chocolate Comeback is the 7th book in the Love At The Chocolate Shop! When Deirdre aka DeeDee Cash's life in NYC as a aspiring model comes crashing down, she is forced to go back to the one place she vowed to never return - Marietta, Montana aka home. Isaac Litton doesn't want a home care aide for his brother, Mark who has Down Syndrome but knows that something has to change with their living situation. It's only when Mark takes to the liking of DeeDee, is when Isaac is willing to take a chance on DeeDee. With DeeDee taking charge of Mark's health and well-being, Isaac notices a huge change with Mark while at the same time, slowly falling for DeeDee. As DeeDee starts to get back in the good graces of her family while falling in love, an opportunity to revive her failing career pops up at the worst time ever. It takes a family emergency and a fundraiser for DeeDee to make the decision that will change her life forever! Every book that I have read so far in this series, is great in the sense that you get that feeling of reading something great with a touch of chocolate! How can you not love a story that has a brother taking care of his younger brother with a disability and a woman rediscovering her roots, it truly was a match made in heaven. My only problem with this book and series as a whole, is that you seriously need to have chocolate around because after reading what they make, will make you hungry for chocolate but that's a great thing!! Thank You to Roxanne Snopek for writing a great book in this series and for making me want to go read more books by you!! I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book from the Author!

This was another great addition to the Love at the Chocolate Shop series. DeeDee is back in Marietta trying to figure out what to do next, now that her modeling career in New York seems to be over. Isaac relocated to Marietta so he would have a better place to take care of his brother with special needs. DeeDee's need for a job, and Isaac's need for a caregiver for Mark throws these two together. I loved how DeeDee seems to find herself throughout the story. She evaluates her happiness while working in a job that she never dreamed she would be doing. Isaac is a great brother, although a tad overprotective. He and DeeDee helped each other out so much. I loved all of the characters in this story.

What is Inside Is What is important! This story covers many types of stereotyping from cover models, cowboys, autism, to down syndrome. It amazed me how well Roxanne was able to catch the typical stereotyping and show it isn't all it is suppose to be be, and demonstrate the persons true colors. I also enjoyed the previous relations that showed up in this story. DeeDee was able to figure out what is really important in life, Issac was able to relax and start to enjoy his brother Mark, while Mark was able to streamline into life more and have some independence. Looking forward to reading more stories of Roxanne's. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

The Chocolate Comeback (Love at the Chocolate Shop Book 7) by Roxanne Snopek This is model Deirdre "DeeDee" Cash and Isaac Litton's story. DeeDee is back home in Marietta. She needs a job and ends up working for Isaac caring for his brother Mark. This is a sweet and heartwarming romance. If you love small town romances where the town pulls together to help each other, then you will enjoy this story. I enjoyed Mark's character too. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

A story about finding love and happiness in the last place expected. DeeDee Cash has come home to Marietta, Montana after an unsuccessful modeling career in New York City. Unsure of what to do with her life, DeeDee’s sister introduces her to Isaac Litton, who is looking for a caregiver for his brother Mark, who has Down syndrome. DeeDee and Mark become friends which also leads Isaac to open his heart to love again. This story is really good. I enjoyed how DeeDee not only helped Mark, but how she took charge of a fundraising fashion show and baby shower when he sister ended up in the hospital. It is a sweet, heartfelt story with characters that you just can’t get enough of.

A heartful story that I could not put down. Deirdre has returned home to Marietta with her head hung low, she left town as an aspiring actress and it did not pan out. Now needs a job, she takes a job as a caretaker of Mark, who has downs syndrome. Mark lives with is brother Isaac. Soon Deirdre has , Mark's life improving as Isaac watches on, as Isaac's heart opens up to Deirdre. Deirdre is only here temporarily or will she open her heart to these two young men. Loved, loved this book!! Deirdre really opens her heart up to the town of Marietta and soon the town opens up to her too. Deidre is such a good person to Mark, treats him normal and helps him make better decisions, ok so the reward is Sage's chocolate, but in limited amounts. Isaac is a dream, so good to his brother, maybe a little protective but awesome. The relationship between Isaac and Deirdre is slow building and sweet. I highly recommend this book along with the rest of the Chocolate Shop stories!! Can't wait for the baby. 1 like

I loved The Chocolate Comeback by Roxanne Snopek, the seventh book in the Love at the Chocolate Shop series. Especially the manner in which Ms. Snopek dealt with the struggle Dee Dee Cash had with trying to figure out who she was and what she really wanted. Did she want to return to New York and resurrect her modeling career or stay in Marietta with her family, Isaac, and Mark? In addition, Ms. Snopek did an excellent job handling Mark Litton with his Down’s syndrome and his relationship with his brother Isaac and Dee Dee. Isaac was a wonderful addition while he became a member of the Marietta community. I really enjoyed reading this book and had trouble putting this book down, reading it in one day. I highly recommend this book to other readers. I am so looking forward to the next entry in the Love at the Chocolate Shop series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book

Deirdre "Dee Dee" Cash has returned home to Marietta Montana from New York City jobless and no plans for her future. Isaac Litton has taken responsibility for his handicapped brother Mark and moved to Marietta for the hopes of a slower pace of life for the two. Mark takes to Dee Dee immediately when they meet during a walk in the park. Isaac doesn't think Dee Dee is a good fit to help care for Mark while he is working but when she doesn't give up he sees just how good she is with Mark. When Isaac and Dee Dee begin to have feelings for one another the pull back due past relationships. Can the two move past there hurts and develop a future? I really enjoyed this book . The characters were likable fun and easy to root for.

A delicious addition to a sweet series! I’m loving this whole series and this is another superb read. . . mind you, I’ve enjoyed by far the majority of the stories and series based in Marietta, Montana and published by Montana Born/Tule Publishing. It is a great read in its own right but I thoroughly enjoyed reconnecting with so many of the now familiar people and places who appear in these stories, regardless of who the author is. Having said that, I don’t think you need to have read any of the earlier books to still appreciate the brilliant writing, great characters and enthralling storyline in this novel. Sometimes you have to leave a place to appreciate how great it is and that was certainly true for Deirdre Cash (DeeDee). She left with the intention of becoming a famous model but discovered that life isn’t as glamorous or simple as she’d anticipated. She’s returned to Marietta much wiser but no longer employed. Her sister introduces her to Isaac Litton and his younger brother Mark, suggesting that DeeDee could be the person to help care for Mark, who has a learning disability associated with Down’s Syndrome, whilst Isaac is working. Reluctantly he decides to give her a chance. DeeDee finds it easy to relate to Mark and soon has him improving his diet, taking more exercise, improving his appearance and generally leading a more interesting and engaging life, getting to know others in the community, socialising and learning new skills. As the attraction between DeeDee and Isaac grows she’s given the opportunity to return to modelling. Will she return to her previous career or will she give their love - and Marietta - a chance? This is a delightful story, filled with humour, love and turmoil as Mark inadvertently brings Isaac and DeeDee together. There’s plenty of twists and turns along the way, potholes to be avoided on life’s highway en route to their happily ever after. The Chocolate Shop and its personnel play key roles in the story and it was great to read how DeeDee’s attitude to life in Marietta has changed as she reconnects with her family and others from her past. She even puts her previous experiences to great use for a good cause! As soon as I spotted this book was available, I requested and received a copy via NetGalley. I just couldn’t resist reading another book in this series, especially by this talented author. This is my honest review after reading it. I’ll certainly be looking out for more in this series or by this author in future!
