The City of Peril

A swift story is this, incredibly swift, with an inordinately wealthy young man as the central figure of the action. He is spurred to life by the mocking thrust of a girl, jumps into a mystery of the New York underworld involving machinations of the Reds and incidentally meets there the brown-eyed girl who is apparently involved in the network of the nefarious underground pursuits and practices of the enemies to society.
