If Gone With the Wind is your literary bible ... then this is the concordance you need!   I read the first edition of this trivia book back when it was released in 1989 and it made me feel like an aficionado of everything GWTW at that time.   Having sat down to read this second edition twenty-five years later, Pauline Bartel, with her exciting and engaging writing style, keeps Gone With the Wind fresh as it was in 1949 and continues to shock, surprise, and delight the fans of Gone With the Wind with the rare nuggets of information that she supplies. She marries so seamlessly the tales from the 1930s and carries the story through to the publishing of Ruth's Journey in the for the 75th anniversary of the cinematic release in 2014. For the die hard fan, those even mildly interested in the saga of movie making in the 1930s, or brand new fans to Gone With the Wind, you will keep this on the shelf tucked between your copy of the novel and the blu-ray. Well, for me, my copy has always sat between my copy of the novel and the VHS, then the DVD, and then the blu-ray. The book and the phenomenon have grown with the times. Every Gone With the Wind fan will give a damn about this treasure trove between to covers!
