This is the only instruction hand book about the Sony A6000 camera which I could find and purchase through B&N. I found this book quite useful and helpful to specific operations settings and program sequences to get the Sony A6000 camera to do what I like it to do. If you are familiar with Gary Friedman's style of writing camera operations you will like this manual. If not.....be patient, go through the pages, read and re-read what looks challenging, interesting or familiar. Skip the chapters you don't need till later. Go back and forth until it make sense. If you have the Sony A6000 camera already, you are a step ahead, the instructions would be easier to master if you can practice while you learn. I purchased the black & white issue of the hand book (can't afford the color issue). Fortunately the b&w issue comes with (mailed) PDF pages of the colored photographs, which you will need to comprehend the color techniques of this camera. Wish you the best of Good Luck, franse

Excellent. Very comprehensive and well organized. A book that one skips around while learning this wonderful camera.

There are several reasons why this book is so expensive: It is printed on a thick stock more suited to a photo book than a manual. It is bloated. The same topic is addressed multiple times., it's wordy, and rambles on about all sorts of photographic topics not specific to the camera. Sorely in need of a good editor. That said, there is nothing else out there.
