The crow that couldn't fly
My name is Donte Hayes and I currently use a wheelchair/ walker. At the age of 17, a while after my high school graduation I was shot twice in my head and spent the next few years in a children's hospital where I then gained a deeper and better understanding as to how important it is to impact the next generation's. I am 36 years of age now and have been rehabbing ever since I could breathe on my own. I know that with good faith and great effort it will lead me not to just be walking again, but I will soar.
