I'm very sorry to see this series end. Adrien and Jake are fantastic characters, and it was fascinating to see the evolution of their relationship. The ending was so ridiculously romantic that I almost cried. Highly recommended. -- lyradora

Another excellent read. A crime to solve, but more focused on the various relationships between Adrien and others..Lisa, Jake, Mel, Guy and others. Really cementing these folks as real people. Really looking forward to the next one in the series!

Good, but very short.

I bought this after reading the previous four Adrien English mysteries. Loved them all. The series is well-written and full of humor. I am not a big reader of m/m stories but the romance in this series is very well done and believable. I will be looking for more of Josh Lanyon's work.

This is the fifth book in the Adrien English series. While the mystery in this book isn't as compelling as in the previous books, Adrien's relationships with his family and his lovers--former and current--are the best parts of the story. In the end, Adrien's heart is mended, both physically and romanticly. I loved it!
