From New York Times bestseller, Kendall Ryan, comes a sexy new standalone novel.

My tempting and very alpha friend Sterling Quinn is someone I consider off-limits.

It's not just that we're friends, he's also cocky, confident, and British, which means he's a walking aphrodisiac.

But lately he's been giving me the look. You know the one. When he thinks I'm not paying attention, and his gaze lingers for too long.

When we start working together, that's when the sexual tension between us gets so thick, I want to hack through it with a machete. I want to make all these deep feelings I've harbored for him disappear, because there's no way this can end well.

The lines between business and pleasure become irrevocably blurred, and I'm stuck between a rock and Sterling's very, very hard place.

Rather than keep a level head about our growing attraction, Sterling wants to go all in, showing me just how explosive we can be together.

But I've been around long enough to know that this British bad boy is more than my heart can handle. I'm not about to be cast aside like yesterday's underwear when he's done having fun.

Sterling's never been told no, and he's not about to put his ego aside and play by my rules. But I never thought he'd fight so dirty.

A couple of months ago I’ve read the Hitched series by Kendall Ryan, and although they are over-the-top, the books are very funny. Noah and Olivia – the leading couple in Hitched – have the support of their best friends, who provide them with well-meant suggestions. To their disbelieve, said best friends suddenly find themselves in a strangely familiar situation. This is Sterling and Camryn’s story. “I feel a bit like the guy on The Bachelor. But there are no roses to give out, and this is my life, not some g******n reality-TV program.” Sterling is your typical rich playboy / jaded divorce attorney. He doesn’t believe in love, but enjoys all what comes with being rich, British and attractive. Sterling spends a lot of time with beautiful women, but they all know the score; nothing serious. When an unexpected inheritance with an unusual clause lands in his arms, Sterling suddenly has to think about the more serious things in life. Luckily, he gets help from Camryn, the best friend of his best friend’s wife. And quickly Camryn is all Sterling can think about. “You are crude,” she says with a chuckle. “Hey, you brought it up. But yes, love, I like p****.” Her cheeks flush, and I give zero f**** about making her blush. There’s something in me that likes getting a rise out of her. In fact, I’d love to rile her up even more.” Camryn is a hard working PR executive and very good at what she does. After her last boyfriend disappeared from her life leaving her with a debt to pay off, Camryn stayed away from men. For a while now she’s starting to see Sterling, the best friend of her best friend’s husband, in a new light. Yes, she is attracted to him, but she also sees him with other women and knows she’s not like them. When she and Sterling have to work closely together due to his sudden inheritance, Camryn tries to fight her feelings (but fails of course). “Morning, sunshine.” I grin at him. Fighting the urge to look away from those sexy dark-blue eyes, I hold his gaze, not wanting to let him know how very much his presence rattles me.” Sterling and Camryn are a sweet couple with lots of (sexy) chemistry, but they each have their reasons to fight their feelings. Sterling believes Camryn is only interested in happily-ever-afters (his jaded view of the world tells him that’s impossible) and Camryn tries to keep their relationship professional. It doesn’t take long for Sterling to realize Camryn is the woman he wants to change for, that she is the one for him. Trying to convince a stubborn Camryn of this fact is a lot of work for Sterling, but he doesn’t mind at all. Like ‘the Hitched series’, The Fix Up is a sweet and easy read. The inheritance plot is a bit farfetched and over-the-top, but since this is a romantic comedy I absolutely don’t mind. I love Sterling and Camryn, I like their banter and how Camryn ‘tries’ to fight Sterling. It was good to see Noah and Olivia from Hitched again, to see their relation is as strong as ever and that they’re still madly in love. There is a tiny bit of angst in the book, but luckily it didn’t last very long. “I want you as my wife.” His fingertips dance over my skin so lightly, they burn. “I want to wake up next to you every day and make love to you every night. I want to take you to Italy and put little babies in your belly. I want to grow old with you, Cami.” I’ve enjoyed reading The Fix Up, I give the story of Camryn and Sterling 4 stars.

And Kendall Ryan did it again! Sterling Quinn is going to receive a huge inheritance. He really wants the money, he needs it. But there's a condition for him to receive the inheritance: he has six months to get married. He decides to hire Tate & Cane to help him find a wife. What he doesn't expect is working directly with Camryn Palmer, the woman he feels a tremendous attraction for. Camryn Palmer is one of the best PRs. So, when she's informed that she'll work as a matchmaker for Sterling, she hesitates. She is attracted to him, but knows he is an "one night stand" kind of guy. But she really needs the bonus that she'll receive. Will Camryn succeed finding the perfect wife for Sterling? Will they able to fight their attraction for each other? The Fix-Up is a spin-off of the Imperfect Love series and it is a standalone. The Fix-Up is a sexy and funny read. It hooked me from the first page and I couldn't stop reading. I loved the chemistry and the banter between Camryn and Sterling and how their relationship developed. Camryn Palmer is a strong and independent woman, with a soft side that believes in happily-ever-afters. The hopes to find her "lobster" and knows she shouldn't fall for Sterling. But she can't help it. I loved her sassy mouth and how she stood up for herself when Anna betrayed her. Sterling Quinn is an attorney that practices family law. After witnessing so many messy divorces, he knows he will never get married. But he really wants, and needs, the inheritance. He knows he can't act on his attraction for Camryn because he'll end up hurting her. But he ends up developing deeper feeling for her. I loved his alpha side and his dirty mouth. And how sweet he was with his mother? Swoon! Once again, Kendall Ryan hits the jackpot with this friends to lovers romance that will make you laugh, swoon and blush. The Fix-Up is flawlessly written and it's very easy to connect with the characters. Can't wait to read more from Kendall!

3.5☆ I enjoyed this book. It was cute and funny, plus it was a lot longer than I was expecting. The storyline was pretty good. I just felt like it was a tad rushed, but I understand some of that had to happen because of the plotline of the book. It just felt like it was missing something; I can't put my finger on exactly what that is, but I feel like it could have used more. I liked Sterling and Camryn. They're entertaining yet cute together. I liked seeing their relationship grow throughout the book. I liked Noah and Olivia being back as well =) The last 30 pages or so were my favorite; they were really sweet and made me smile.

RATING 4.5 STARS The Fix Up by Kendall Ryan is my very first book by her and I just loved it. You are just going to fall in love with Sterling, the sexy Brit, and his matchmaker, Camryn. Sterling Quinn came to the United States as a boy and the adjustment wasn’t an easy one. Now he thinks of New York as home. He is a very successful divorce attorney so he sees the worst side of marriage. Add in the fact that his own father abandoned them as soon as his mother got sick and he is vowed to never get married. His best friend is happily married so Sterling knows true love is out there. Just not for him. That is until he receives a call from his Uncle saying that he is to inherit fifty million dollars, as long as he marries within the next six months. Camryn Palmer first met Sterling at their best friend, Olivia’s wedding. She thought they shared a connection. But then he just suddenly left. So she is quite shocked when she is named at the Public Relations firm she works at, to head up the event that will help Sterling find a wife. Even though they haven’t seen each other in a long time, the electric charged connection is still there between them. But Sterling is a player. He is ‘the’ most eligible bachelor in New York. Can he really commit to a woman? Is he taking this seriously? Sterling makes it obvious that he is interested in Camryn but she is determined to keep their relationship strictly professional. She knows if she lets this sexy Brit into her heart, it will not end well for her. “For years, the only thing I was sure of was that I never wanted to get married, and now that I’m faced with the fact that I need to, the one girl who suddenly looks very appealing is the only one I can’t have.” Sterling pours on the charm and Camryn’s defenses weaken. She’s falling fast. But she is due a huge bonus if she is able to help Sterling find a wife. And she needs that bonus badly. The more time they spend together, the more she gets to know him, the more she cares for him, and the more impossible it becomes to ignore his charm. “He is my everything. My unrequited crush. The source of my desire. He’s the thing my fantasies are made of. Sterling makes me wish that happily-ever-afters weren’t just for fairy tales. Because to me, he is perfection.” This is one of those books where you both love the two main characters dearly and want to give them both a smack at the same time. I kept thinking if they would just admit to one another how they really felt, so much of the chaos could have been avoided. But maybe they weren’t ready to hear it yet. Maybe they needed to take the hard road to find their happiness. This book was surprisingly hot, sweet, silly, and just wonderful. I love these stories that leave you smiling and chock full of warm and fuzzies. I love epilogues and this one was perfect. Camryn and Sterling were both flawed and yet perfect for each other. It just took them a while to figure it out. I sincerely enjoyed this book and definitely want to check out more of this author’s work. I’m so glad I gave this book a try. “Sometimes things are just meant to be.”

I was offered a copy of The Fix Up in exchange for an honest review. This is the first novel I’ve read by Kendall Ryan and if this is indicative of her work I am a fan! From the beginning I was dying laughing. I mean seriously “Cum-hair Barbie” classic! I think that one gave me first degree burns spitting out coffee! The premise behind the story is one that I’ve read many times. I will admit I was a bit disappointed and thought to myself “this again”. A single man has to hurry up and get married in order to inherit a fortune. However, I was pleasantly surprised due to Ryan’s interesting twist that made the story fresh and fun. Not to mention she gave Sterling incredible depth. It just made him not only sexy but loveable. Then there is Camryn, she was the perfect character, fun, sassy, yet vulnerable and real. The chemistry between the two was OMG! off the charts and could melt my e-reader. Don’t get me started on those scorching love scenes! I am still flushed. Yowzah! The entire back and forth between the two had me so frustrated. I love and hate when, authors have me wanting to reach into the book and knock their characters heads together. But that is what makes it so great! I love when I can immerse myself in the story and the rest of the world falls away and nothing else exists but these characters and their world. It is the mark of a truly great story and author. I devoured The Fix Up in just a few hours and it was a delicious read! I am looking forward to reading more from Kendall Ryan....Sara

After reading the Hitched series by Kendall Ryan, I was really excited to read The Fix Up, we get glimpses of Sterling in the previous series that I couldn't wait to read his own story. In this romantic and hilarious standalone, we get to meet Sterling Quinn, a British divorce attorney whose life completely changes after he gets news of his uncle about his new fate. After living in New York for a long time, he finally has everything he could ever want and more. He has the looks, money, and women. Yet, behind all of that he has been hurt in the past that has made him unable to commit to anyone. His career has given him a lot of opportunities, and the attention that he get from women have giving him the image of a playboy. But it is when he gets news from back home that completely shakes what he's build for himself in the big city. He not only needs to get married to secure an inheritance, but he also has to do it within the time line that he's been given. Without not knowing what to do and with all the media attention that he is being getting, Sterling has no choice but to find someone to help him find a wife, and fast. That is when Camryn comes into play, and after meeting her at his best friend’s wedding, he knows that she'll be able to help him out. Both of them have their own reasons to get this right, but it seems that the more time they spend together, the more they start to realize that they might just be perfect for each other. Now it's up to them to decide if they can truly move on to a relationship and lose the inheritance that Sterling so desperately needs. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, the author has done it again in my opinion, and delivered a book filled with sweet and funny scenes between the characters that will literally melt your heart out. Their chemistry is evident from the very beginning, and as they began to learn more about each other, the more they fit for one another. Both of the characters have pasts to overcome, but together they're able to help each other out, and learn to move on. We do get scenes with the previous main characters in the Hitched series in this book, but you don't need to read it to understand what's going on. The Fix is its own separate story that will leave you wanting for more. I would highly recommend it. :) ***ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.****

Camryn and Sterling have been dancing around each other for a while. Their best friends got married and they were Maid of Honor and Best Man respectively. Chemistry sparked between them that night but they didn't act upon it. Sterling is a divorce attorney who does not believe in love or happily ever after. When his great-grandfather dies, he discovers that the only way he can inherit 50 Million Dollars is by marrying within 6 months. Enter Camryn who is retained by his uncle to find Sterling a wife. Camryn and Sterling have to spend time together and he suggests that they explore what happens between them. Both of them feel the marriage threat looming over him so they continually back off. Camryn was so unprofessional at one point that I was disgusted and thought that she should have been fired. Her inability to do her job (a job she insisted upon performing) was over-the-top in its stupidity. Why set up a speed dating afternoon with hundreds of women if she was going to flake out? I didn't understand how she thought she was going to be okay with it. Her being stuck in her head caused her to do a very poor job of screening applicants and, at the end, she didn't even know who she was sending back to meet him. Sterling could have been harmed. Her friend, Anna, did show poor judgment. However, much of what Camryn accused her of doing the day after was exactly what she did. Olivia should have fired both of them. It was Camryn's fault that an unwanted person was able to get into Sterling's room at all. She took no responsibility for it and was really quick to claim he betrayed her. It was not a moment fitting for a marketing professional. I was surprised Sterling put up with her after that. He continued to impress with his ability to go after what he wanted. Camryn was so immature at times that I really didn't like her. Her inability to communicate with Sterling caused a lot of problems that were easily avoidable. Her running away several times was quite ridiculous -she should have acted like a mature adult instead of a sniveling brat. I did like the ending and was glad to see Sterling was doing the right thing for the right reasons. Overall a good read just a little over the top at points on things that almost everyone else would have been fired for if it pertained to their job.

The Fix Up is a spin-off from the Hitched trilogy by author Kendall Ryan. We are introduced to our two main characters in Noah and Olivia’s story as Camryn is Olivia’s bestie (and employee) and Sterling is Noah’s British hottie bff. Our story begins as Sterling has just been informed that his great grandfather (whom he’s never met) has passed away and left him a large sum of money. The millions of dollars come with a catch, however. He has to be married to receive his inheritance and this playboy bachelor happens to make his living off of broken marriages as a divorce attorney. Enter our girl Camryn. She’s been selected to play millionaire matchmaker for her round about friend. She’s being offered a much-needed bonus if she can find Sterling a wife so as uncomfortable as this situation is for her, she sets out to get him hitched. This Millionaire Matchmaker meets Ever After type of read was super fun. There was a great balance of humor, sweetness, and romance for my personal taste and I read this book in two sittings. I give The Fix Up 4 out of 5 Krissy’s Stars! Since I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve read from this author so far, I’m totally adding her to my auto-read list! Xo- K *I was generously given an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

4.5 Stars! I've never read a Kendall Ryan book that I didn't like and this book continues my winning streak! Irresistably sexy, swoon-worth with plenty of laugh out loud funny moments. This book had me all kinds of worked up. There was plenty of the hot & sexy romance I have come to expect, along wtih a couple of characters who make the story interesting by making everything harder than it should be. I really wanted to read into the book and give Sterling and Camryn a good slap upside the head with their "off limits" rationalizations. As I got further into the story, I started to to worry it was a little bit predictable, and of course the plot did follow the path we all expected it too. However, the little extra twist and turns made it extra special and packed with some great feels removing a bit of the predictability I had been expecting. Another fantastic story worthy of a one-click!

Quickly I have become a fan of Kendall Ryan. Her entertaining way of blending cynicism with smart repartee and profound emotion is a breath of fresh air. The Fix Up not only presents a glimpse into Hitched's Noah and Olivia's transition into happily marital bliss, it also presents the chance to see cocky, manwhore Sterling eat crow. Hotshot divorce lawyer Sterling has money, women and notoriety, but one thing he will never have, IS A WIFE. Or will he? Camryn, is about to bring this playboy to his knees, if she doesn't lose her heart along the way. It's easy to fall in love with Ms. Ryan's characters. A short but sweet, sexy treat.
