While I loved this story for it's plot and characters I hope the author/editor please reviews it because it has mistakes which seem related to poor voice to text translation such as she decended from the family carnage vice carriage. I have not seen this issue with the other books in the series so would hate to have this lovely story maligned for such a thing.

I enjoyed reading this story and couldn't put it down.

This was the first of Jacque's Regency Romance books that I read. I admit that I started to read it a bit begrudgingly with a preconceived opinion. However, I was pleasantly surprised to be hooked from the very beginning of the story and was reluctant to put it down until the very end. Jacque has an excellent talent at making characters that you fall in love with and sympathize with, and I'm not just referring to the main characters. The ending, especially, has a surprising twist that was far from being expected (At least, for me).
