The Glittering Ghosts of Lambda Theta Phi
The hottest frat on Greek Row has a ghost problem-and it's not shy about crashing the party.

Ricky just wanted a wild freshman year. Instead, he pledges Lambda Theta Phi and meets Sebastian: a tuxedoed, velvet-voiced ghost with a tragic past and zero chill. The mansion's walls hide more than cracks-there are rules no one wrote, a cat that judges everyone, and an artifact the house refuses to give up.

When pledge pranks turn into full-on hauntings, Ricky and his glitter-drenched crew-Declan the crown-wearing president, Miles the occult nerd, Troy the chaos stylist, and soft-hearted Finn-find themselves in the middle of a supernatural turf war. Rival spirits circle. A river-soaked stranger knocks. And the house starts demanding a debt no one can afford.

Wickedly funny, unapologetically queer, and dripping with supernatural drama, The Glittering Ghosts of Lambda Theta Phi is a paranormal horror-comedy about bad parties, fierce friendship, and the kind of love worth haunting for.

About the Author

David Lagattuta Jr. is an author and sociologist from New Orleans, Louisiana—a city that taught him how to love people, listen closely, and appreciate a good story told on a porch. He writes across genres—comedy, satire, romance, and even horror—because life rarely stays in one lane. That mix-and-match spirit shows up on the page as big-hearted characters, queer joy, and the occasional haunted house with opinions.

A proud member of the LGBTQ community, David is a feminist, an environmentalist, and a committed advocate for human rights and mental health. He earned his B.L.A. in Sociology from the University of New Orleans in 2013, and he still thinks like a sociologist: curious about what holds communities together, and honest about what pulls them apart. Raised by his mother and grandmother, he learned early that care is action—and that laughter can carry a lot of truth.

He’s happily partnered and stubbornly loyal to his family and friends. When he isn’t writing, he’s people-watching in the most affectionate way possible, collecting small details—a turn of phrase, a look across a room—that find their way into his fiction. No matter the genre, David writes to make readers feel seen, to make them laugh, and sometimes to let them be a little scared in the safest possible way.
