This book will affect so many women of all races, nationalities and age who have experienced tragedy in their life. Ms. Orrill has touched my heart with her writings. It is as if she were writing about my life and my experiences. She lets me know that I am not by myself in this struggle I face daily.

Toni Orrills 'Glorious Summer' is an amazingly penetrating account of the natural beauty found in gods life forces and treasures which can be found in even the simplest life forms and in the simplest celestial and earthly patterns, and which can be seen and related to even when experiencing the deepest kinds of human suffering, whether it be sadness, lonliness, poverty, anger, jealousy, humiliation, greed, lust or war.It is a testament to the blossoming season of life, where everything living blooms into its own beauty, is its own open source of love, and where all creation is a platform for the soothing comforts and quiet whispers of wisdom available to everyone/anyone willing to simply open their hearts and take notice. The viewpoint of this female christian author is mystical/universal in its awareness, and has the capcity to touch and shine peace onto the souls of any reader, male or female, rich or poor. I have read some of these pages to my friends and everyone gets emotional, it's just that moving. These memoires compare to some of the greatest writers in history.
