When I first started this book, I thought it was meant for YAs. After all it is about YAs and rheir relationships with parents, peers, teachers and other authority figures and being terrorized by bullies. I also thought this book would be something like Stephen King's "CARRIE," After teading it, I was pretty sure no one under 16 should read it, yet this book would help young people know just how dangerous eletronic media devices can be in the wrong hands. There is so much heartbreak, manlipulation, suicide, murder, violence, horrific violence on kids, bullying, adultry, finding, and talking to a corpse, all kinds of child abuse, including, non detailed sex and incest, pedophila and a mother trying to manlipulate mother nature. There is some religion but it is mostly matter of factly included in day to day activities. There was no romance, cursing, drug or alcohal use. Parts of this book were very sad. It cost $2.99, was 330 pages long and very well edited. It was a very good book, with a lot of unexpected twists and turns. I think if the young person is very mature, it might be good for them to read this book. The parent should read it first, then decide. I am hesitant to recommend to anyone under 16 because of the violence and some of the other subject matter. Perhaps for mature 14-16 year olds and up, with parents preapproval and for adults. More for chicks than roosters. AD

This story is a little creepy, but it will make you think you know whats going on when you really don't. One of the few books i have not been able to guess the ending in.

I wish bn would put a stop to kids using the nook as a chat room. Adults come here for book reviews. This author is great and i look forward to reviews on her new books but when all you get are stupid kids playing around it gets annoying. Please bn, ban these kids.

This author is a great storyteller! This book is NOT for teens!!!! It kept me guessing who the murderer was!

This was not one of her better novels and the least liked of any I have read. It is written in first person which is not to my liking. I had a very hard time getting into the story and had to make myself finish the book. Her previous novels were lots, lots better than this one. It was disappointing to me having enjoyed her previous books. Not sure I will be in a hurry to purchase any more of her books written after this one. The low stars are because of the first person writing.

Simplistic and predictable. This author blatantly favors certain characters all along, making it obvious who she wants you to see as "good" and "evil." One twist at the end left me creeped out for a moment but nothing about this book will stick for me. There are also religious undertones regarding morality and a strict code of right and wrong which i personally cannot stomach. Towards the end, she refers to a transgendered person as "it." My first book by this author will be my last.

I confess I skipped around and went to the end of the story in attempt to find a place which would encourage me to read this book. Sadly, I could not find anything to interest me. The story grinds along without getting to the point.

What a great read! My daughter put on her page, soul seedlings, and I decided to try it. I read it without putting it down. So many twists ad turns. Great job!

I paid for my nook just like you did and I'll say whatever I want to. And I didn't come here to listen to you complain about kids "playing around." If B&N wants to ban me, they can give me my money back and then they can go ahead and ban you, too.

Totally creepy, suspenseful, A very good read! It creeped me out so much I'd have to walk away from it at times!   It also has good insight into the teenage (and  certainly adult) world of texting and using social media and the internet to solely connect with people.   And it reminded me the dangers of NOT talking to face to face.  It also deals with bullying and cyber-bullying The writing style was very interesting. The characters were well-developed. Highly recommended.

I am not far into this book, but I must say I am enjoying it along with all of Wendy Corsi Staub's books.  But, Barnes & Noble, are you not screening the reviews listed.  Teenagers chatting and arranging to meet after school!  Really?????  Please take a look at the reviews listed under this book and take note that you are letting these "NOT REVIEWS" slip by and be posted.  This is not what I, or any other loyal Barnes & Noble customer expects.
