The Grind: Freshman Year

In his freshman year of high school, John's dad worked nights which left him home, taking care of himself, and trying to make good decisions with all of the attention everyone around him was starting to pull on him for. As the end of his freshman year comes to a close, the life of this teen basketball phenom has been turned upside down by tragedy that may turn out to be the worst thing that could ever happen to him.
