The Daliang Mountains is a mountain range in the southwestern part of China and is home to the Yi ethnic minority. As the most destitute area in China right now, it’s receiving the targeted-poverty-alleviation plan from the government and coming into public notice more. My mother and I went there two times this year and had close interactions with the people there.
