This is the second book in the 4th grade children's living science book series entitled, The Gumshoe Archives. It teaches the science concepts of weather and the tools needed to forecast weather. Each chapter contains a review exam to test the students knowledge of the information presented as well as a comprehensive exam at the end of the book. There are also helpful activity ideas at the beginning of each chapter to help the teacher facilitate the learning process.


Storyline

Edward Chiselmeyer, the Zookeeper for the San DeFakeo Zoo has been robbed. Their prized Panda has been stolen. He needs Andy's help to recover the Panda and maybe gain a better understanding of how Weather affects our world. Andy and Norsely are led high into the rugged mountain tops tracking the Panda nappers. Join them as they take on fierce tigers and risk their lives trying to solve this mystery.

About the Author

Robert was born in Seattle Washington. He graduated from San Jose State University with a B.S. Degree in Business Management. He has always pursued his passion for writing, and is now combining that passion with his love of teaching. Being the father of five, he has always been keenly aware of the need for teaching materials that captivate and hold a child's attention. In his own words, "If the child won't read the book it won't teach them a thing". The Gumshoe Archives provide an entertaining way to learn for students of all ages. Robert currently lives in the Rocky Mountains with his family. He loves writing and sharing that passion with his student audience.
