Growing up in the hives, Cricket has always had a million questions. Why are trees forbidden, even in art? Why do her parents seem to hate her? And the biggest, most dangerous and secret question of all: why is Cricket immune to Queen Wasp's powers? Whenever the queen takes control of all the HiveWings, speaking through their mouths and seeing through their eyes, Cricket has to hide, terrified of being discovered.

Now she's hiding again, wanted for stealing the Book of Clearsight along with her new SilkWing friends, Blue and Swordtail, and the fierce LeafWing, Sundew. The fugitives need answers, and fast, in order to prevent a LeafWing attack. But Cricket has more questions than ever. How can she stay hidden and discover the queen's deadliest secret? And if she does succeed -- can a powerless dragonet really do anything to topple a regime and stop a war?

I know this book hasnt came out yet but i love the rest of the books so why shouldnt i love this one to? The thing i love obout this sieries is that it is easy-ish to read, and they have unexpected plot twists. The thing i love most of all about these books is that it has dragons, humans, and real life animals. This book gives so manny details that you get a picture in your head just from reading the words on the page. Like in book one when you first see Queen scarlets palace in the throne room clay can barely look around because the room is filled with gold, diamonds, rubies and lots of other precious and expensive juels. This book sieries is literally the best outnof all the books ive read, these books are by far te best books ive ever read. Yet again this book hasnt come out yet but i know i will love it. My favorite part about this book and book 11 is that there are two new types of dragons in them. I first saw yhis book on a advirtizement in a magezien. Let me tell you i frieled out! But of course it only took me about 1 or 2 days to finnish it. I like how in the book the dragon tribes are exactly like human civilizations. Like how there is a huge war going on and there are prisons. But the best part about it is that there are no swear words that make it inapropriate for kids. I mean these books were practically made for kids. I mean for me getting the newest (or this book that i am wrighting about) would be a dream come true

I would like to start by writing about what I hope for in this new book. Firstly, all of the dragon speices end in -wing. Along with this, previous connections have been noted between the two dragon continents, so I hope to learn more about that. Now, regarding those with negative views, I respect your opinion. I would also like to note that you made the effort to enter the comments section, and perhaps went through the trouble of commenting. This seems both unnessisary and rude, considering you did not even have to read this comment, much less an entire series of books you don't enjoy. I find your sheer blatent disregard for those who might enjoy the book later if they decide to read it simply and fully vilanous and even slightly insane. I apologize to anyone I might have offended, but if you read this far, you either enjoyed the book, are reading this as a test of the book (read it immediately along with the rest of the series) or are not mentally capable enough to stop reading anything. Finally, I have found the books so far not only ingeneously written, but one of the few truly and wholly enjoyable book series I have ever found.

I have once again been thorougly impressed by Tui's fantastic ability to drag readers into the world of dragons, jealousy, trust and corruption. I finished the book in amere two hours, I'd become so utterly indulged. Please, Tui, never stop keeping our imagination awake.

This fantasy adventure novel is centered around a community of dragons living on an isolated island. The island was inhabited by three types of dragons before one group was eliminated by the new queen. Years after this happened it is revealed to a young dragon that this tribe is still alive and needs help to start a revolution against the tyrant queen. The dragon, Cricket, decides to help these dragons and goes on an adventure full of action, fear, and suspense. Cricket has issues with her group, as some of them feel that the only way to end the tyranny is to kill off all of Cricket’s species of dragons. In the end Cricket is in a tight situation and must make a hard choice in her quest. This book begins slightly confusing, but it clears up fast and once it clears up it becomes much better. This is a very good book, full of fantasy elements and exciting adventure. This book is very good, but it is also part of a larger series of books. This book seems to stand alone, as there were very few references to the other books. Overall this book was very good, and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys fantasy novels. O, how I love these books. Tui, again, takes her readers into a world of mystery and awe. The world of WoF is eye opening and the plots can bring anyone to tears, good and bad that is. This is by far one of the greatest books of our time. You can just get lost in the world of Pantalla.

This book was great! It didn't explain a lot, for example, we didn't get a solid answer to a few questions, but it's always fun to read this series.
