I have just finished the final book in this, having scaresly put it down since purchasing it. The five honorables, born as younger sons work hard for a good line; a doctor, lawyer, and men working in a shiping company. Their ladies are anything but typical. Their adventures inhabit England, Sami and India. Strong characters throughout the books but 5 books that are complete and able to stand alone. A wonderful bargain for 1165 pages of lovely reading.

I got this series to try a new author...and what a find! The first in the series was a bit rough for me, due to the nature of grave robbing, etc., but I muddled through and the more I read, the deeper my intrigue. The "Regency" became more encompassing due to the nature of the subjects brought to light and the underlying message that I brought out of the whole series was simple. Life can either be lived by fighting for it, or it can be allowed to trample you to pieces. A fitting message for today, as we move into 2018. We fight the good fight even more so today, as much as they had to back then. The fight for peace in our world and love and justice to be had by all. Thank you for your wonderful story telling ability, it was much appreciated.
