About the Author
I’ve been dreaming, reading and writing romance ever since I stayed up all night devouring Mills and Boon novels as part of my English degree, and promptly gave up any pretext of enjoying tragic stories. After all, what’s the point of a book without a happy ending?
Born overseas, I grew up in Wales and now make my home in Hertfordshire, with my scientist husband and our four year old daughter. I keep a blog, which should be about romance and writing, but is usually about cake and castles.

4 - "To thine own self be true." Stars! I absolutely adored The Kiss Before Christmas, it was one of my favourite seasonal reads of December 2013, so when I saw that Sophie Pembroke, had written another seasonal novella, featuring another member from the same family that appeared in The Kiss Before Christmas I did a little Christmas dance of joy! "I've been patient for almost a year." Molly and Jake's story features one of my most favourite themes, in that Jake is Molly's brothers best friend, having lost his parents very early on in his life, he is also like a part of the Mackenzie family. I loved this novella, it was romantic, Christmassy, and evoked so many memories of past Christmases spent with my family, what with epic mince pie bake offs, mulled wine tipsyness, Toblerones and Chocolate Oranges all playing their parts as well as a few moments of comedy too boot. Molly and Jake were both easy to like and their story (a year in the making) was an absolutely perfect continuation of the Mackenzie siblings seasonal love stories as a whole. I just hope that Sophie gives Dory and Molly's brother his own seasonal story for Christmas 2015! "It felt right." ARC generously provided via Netgalley, in exchange for the above honest review.
