Overview

Marshall Dyson wants one thing and one thing only: to raze his grandfather’s island to the ground. Everything is ready to go—except for the freakin’ bunnies! Hundreds of the furry critters hopping about and multiplying before his eyes. And then there’s the American Bunny League, along with one distractingly beautiful veterinarian, taking him to court to save them...

Dr. Augusta “Gus” North can’t believe the grumpy—and annoyingly hot—builder she’s facing in court cares more about demo-ing some cabin than the lives of 200 bunnies. But when the judge orders Marshall to stay on the island and help her rehome the rabbits—the entire month—she knows they’re going to need to lay some ground rules.

Like, for example, absolutely no kissing. Might as well go ahead and get that in writing. Sure it’s on a napkin, but that still counts.

How hard could it be to keep their hands off each other amidst all the fighting? Surprisingly, harder than wrangling 200 bunnies...

I love this book! A laugh out loud so hard you cry & have people looking at you like you're crazy if you're in a public place kind of story! Full of steam, funny t-shirts with bunny sayings across the front, sex like bunnies for a month by wabbit wescue volunteers, and a no kissing contract between Marshall and Gus that keeps you hanging by a thread, wondering whether they'll break it or not. Oh, and let's not forget poor Thumper, one of the ugliest rabbits on earth that can't find a home. Poor sweet Thumper. I couldn't put it down! The Kissing Contract is my introduction to Amy Andrews and I love her her style! Thank you to NetGalley and Entangled Amara Publishing for approving a copy of this book for review. My review is my opinion alone.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I am not sure but I think this is part of a series, but it reads as a stand alone. I thought this was amazingly silly! Found it hard to believe but it did make me laugh. This is a silly, fluff piece that many will enjoy. I found its not really my cup of tea. I rate it 3 stars.

Loved this fun, sexy, exciting and action packed romantic journey filled with fun witty banter, adorably addicting charters, emotionally thrilling twists and exciting passion. These two made me laugh, cry and cheer, I so hope his brother is the next fall. Great reading!

The Kissing Contract was a fun, light, easy read. This was my first Amy Andrews novel and I enjoyed it. This unusual storyline was amusing and imaginative and much more than I expected. This was a slow burn romance but the chemistry between Marshall and Gus was simmering throughout the story. Both flawed, complex characters, I loved the banter between them. This enemies to lovers novel will evoke a range of emotions from you as the story progresses but the laugh out loud moments will have you entertained. The Kissing Contract was a enjoyable well-written tale and I would highly recommend it to all lovers of Romantic Comedies.

This book was totally WILD!! One veterinarian trying to save hundreds of bunnies and one builder determined to level the island they are inhabiting. I knew from the blurb that this was going to be an insane ride and it definitely was. I loved the banter in this book so much. Marshall and Gus are totally at odds and not looking forward to working with each other to eradicate the bunny problem but being forced by court order to do just that just increased their animosity. The chemistry between Marshall and Gus was instantaneous and completely off the charts. There's a thin line between love and hate and these two straddled it for a long time. There were so many great characters and so much hilarity in this story that I couldn't put it down. There were definitely some weird word choices that I just couldn't seem to get over so I had to drop a star from this otherwise fantastic book.

This story has it all: excitement, friendship, cute furry little animals, heartbreak, family, sexy fun, determination, and love. My heart broke all over again when Marshall told of what happened to his mother as I could totally relate. That was such a heartbreaking but beautiful moment in this story. I loved how Marshall and Gus met, had preconceived notions about each other, fought hard to resist one another. I loved how he called her by her whole name, Augusta. Their chemistry was off the charts and they took the time to really know each other. By the end of this book, I was hooked on both of them. Now I just need Jeremy's story. I know his would be a doozie, that playboy will fall hard. But underneath, both Dyson men have hearts of gold. I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the publisher through Netgalley.

Loved this charming fun story so much! It's fun, sassy & flirty and I think you'll fall in love with Marshall and Gus (Augusta) as I did and of course there are lots of cute bunnies that will rope you in immediately. The easy banter between Marshall and Gus is entertaining as is the slow sizzle that flares to life. With a storyline that could have quickly gotten silly, Ms. Andrews did a fantastic job of giving us the humor while keeping the story moving and believable. I think everyone will enjoy this one and I highly recommend it.

The Kissing Contract is my first introduction to Amy Andrews' books. I found it to be a fun and entertaining read. I enjoyed Gus and Marshall's story. They had great chemistry. There were some moments that I could not help but to laugh out loud. The plot was quite unique and refreshing to me. Throw in a bunch of adorable bunny rabbits, I could not help but to keep reading. I give The Kissing Contract four stars. I look forward to see where else the imagination of Miss Andrews will take her readers to next. I received this book from the publisher. This review is 100% my own honest opinion.

If you are a fan of enemies to lovers and a delicious slow burn, then this is the perfect book for you! Marshall Dyson wants nothing to do with the island his grandfather left him, but before he can raze the island to the ground and start building again he gets taken to court by Dr Augusta “Gus” North the veterinarian who is trying to save the bunnies that have been multiplying on the island. Of course the chemistry between Gus and Marshall is off the charts, but Gus wants to keep it strictly professional and has them both sign a contract that clearly states there is to be no kissing while they are on the island ranging the bunnies. Amy Andrews definitely knows how to write steamy scenes and the scenes between Marshall and Gus are hot!! The delicious buildup to “the kiss” was driving me crazy and I think that was the whole point! Marshall was the perfect book boyfriend - sweet, hot and so caring. Gus has her own issues to work through and her reasons for keeping Marshall at arms length are valid, although I wanted to shake her a few times to tell her what a wonderful guy Marshall was! I hope that Marshall’s brother Jeremy has his own book coming soon! A solid 3.5 star read from me. **ARC provided by Entangled Publishing and NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

It’s another winner from Amy Andrews! I love how her characters are human and have flaws. It makes it so much easier to root for a couple to recognize their feelings for each other. Then again, not every couple has a few hundred bunnies to deal with while they sort their feelings out. The premise was unique, and I loved the humor that tied into the plot catalyst of the bunnies. As always, the sexy times were ohhh, so hot! I’ll never look at a jetty the same way again. For more thoughts on this one, visit my blog at Fireflies and Free Kicks Fiction Reviews. Thank you to NetGalley, Entangled Publishing, and the author for a complimentary pre-release digital ARC of this book.

*****The Kissing Contract is Amy Andrews’s newest fun, flirty and very sassy read. The story focuses on a contractor wanting to develop a piece of property that holds bad memories and a veterinarian determined to protect the rabbit population living there. Mandated by the court to work together, along with a group of rabbit loving volunteers to round up and humanely relocate the bunnies, can these two actually keep their growing attraction at bay even with a signed contract? Don’t bet on it! Any reader familiar with this author knows she is a master at writing witty dialogue and sexy situations to advance her stories. She also has created a backstory for the contractor that will tug at your heart and give so much depth to the story, and of course, the veterinarian has her own issues. This book was so much fun to read. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book from NetGalley. Most highly recommend.

Marshall Dyson wants to demolish the cabin on his grandfather’s island, but is thwarted by the American Bunny League (ABL). Apparently three non-fixed bunnies were put on the island six months ago, and now the island is overrun with rabbits. Dr. Augustus “Gus” North, represents the ABL and is ordered, along with Marshall to work together to humanely get the bunnies off the island in a month. Of course, both Marshall and Gus are insanely attracted to each other, but since Gus is still nursing wounds from her last relationship, she makes them both sign a napkin contract stating that there will be no kissing. As they work together, along with the Bunnyguard volunteers, the rabbit mojo seems to be affecting every one. Gus and Marshall find it more and more difficult to honor the contract. Both Gus and Marshall are very likable characters and I loved that, while they were instantly attracted to each other, it took time to develop an actual relationship. This is a nice, funny read and I hope that the author tell’s Marshall’s brother Jeremy’s story as well. I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.

Bunny rabbits. I love them. So too does Dr Augusta ‘Gus’ North, after all she’s the vet for the American Bunny League ‘ABL’. Marshall Dyson knows nothing about rabbits, except they’re preventing him from doing his job, all 200 of them, running wild around his island. When a judge decides that Marshall must reside on the island with Gus for one month whilst assisting the ABL in catching and removing the bunnies, well he got more than he bargained for. I loved Marshall, he was straight up, say it as it is, with a side of sexy. He was committed, caring, and the vision of him shirtless with a giant bunny on his chest will stay with me for a long time. Gus I found to be slightly annoying at times, and I think she lied to herself, why she denied her feelings was frustrating (yes maybe I was a little jealous, but stop blowing hot and cold girl). A slow burn that felt a little rushed towards the end. That said it all worked for me. I ate up every word. A wonderful story, well written with some fun supporting characters. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

This is a hilarious story. Augusta and Marshal meet in a courtroom for the first time as adversaries. They however find themselves being forced to work together for weeks in close quarters. The author takes us on a hilarious jaunt as these two and the other characters round up bunnies on a small island. The banter is witty and awesome as they see who can outlast the ridiculous contract they have signed.

Now this, to me, would classify as a great beach read. Marshall and Augusta or Gus, start out as enemies over, of all things, bunnies. The bunnies were a great diversion, but look deeper into their journey. A lot of resolving going on for both of them, but they truly get to be friends, to know each other, and assess themselves, with bumps along the way. There is so much anticipated heat on this path because of a napkin, a pen and a silly agreement, maybe not so silly after all! It gave me shivers when Marshall called her "Augusta" mmm, so gravelly! Or I LoL'ed when he called her Goldilocks and she called him Elmer, a ton of inside humor throughout. Rescuing any species should not be taken lightly and I applaud Ms Andrew's efforts, fact and fiction mixed, to rehome these wapidly increasing wascally wabbits. A few times, I do wish Gus would've shut her mind off as I understood her dilemma from the start, but still a very good read with a very HEA! I received an advance reader's copy thru Netgalley and am giving my voluntary honest opinions without spoilers or a lengthy synopsis.

I was not sure how much I would like the book when I read the blurb but honestly the cover just drew me in. Once I started reading it I was blow away by Amy Andrews. This book is funny (so funny I was laughing out loud), sweet and even romantic at times. I loved the characters they were so well developed and the chemistry between them was hot. I even got into the story about the bunnies! Trust me this author will not disappoint you with this book. Pick it up and give this story a chance. Thanks Net Galley. Wonderfully original romance I was blown away by Amy Andrew’s The Kissing Contract. Marshall and Gus/Augusta though they first met as adversaries became an amazing couple. I loved their banter and their sexual chemistry was off the charts. Each had personal baggage they needed to deal with before they got to their HEA and watching them grow and heal was extremely satisfying. The concept of the bunnies was really clever and I would love to read a book about Marshall’s brother Jeremy. I received an advance reader copy via Netgalley.

Marshall and Augusta (Gus), aka Elmer and Goldilocks, were the most endearing couple I have read in awhile. She was nursing a broken heart and he was so deep in denial about his past that he couldn't see the forest for the trees. When they meet, she is trying to stop his company from starting demolition on an island his brother owns. He can't have any more setbacks on this project and is stunned to learn the vet, who is trying to rehome hundreds of rabbits, is a sexy knockout. When the judge orders them to work together and complete the project in four weeks, they both believe it will be easy to stay away from each other. Unfortunately, the first night they both stay in the cabin, he doesn't know she is there and walks in buck naked. Things between the two move pretty fast, in some ways, from there. She sees a different side to him and realizes that he isn't the horrible person she thought he was. He also realizes that she so much more than a pretty package and he finds how smart she is to be a complete turn-on. When she writes a kissing contract, or .a no kissing contract, and adds no s** to the contract after realzing that she might be attracted to him, he is stunned but finds a way to get a kiss out of her in the end. The way these two come to be together, without kissing or having s**, is the gray area of the contract, but steamy all the same. They both realize they are falling for the other, but she is skittish, due to her past and finding out that he ended three engagements. In order to find their happiness together, he has to work on himself. Whether he will be willing to do that to get Gus is the question. Whether she will wait for him to figure out why he ended those relationships is also important. Finally, when Marshall asks a really big question at the absolute worst time, it will send Gus running, but he just might have a way to get the girl. A cute book with strong characters and really cute phrases on shirts that were extremely appropriate for this particular book. I enjoyed seeing Marshall find .another passion in life, albeit, one he never saw coming. I also enjoyed seeing Gus realize that no one was holding her back from falling in love except herself. I loved this book and hope to read a book about Marshall's brother in the near future. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.

The Kissing Contract by Amy Andrews a five-star read that will make you hop. This one will have you daydreaming about lots of bunnies and counting them instead of sheep if you struggle to sleep, especially ones named Thumper and Rambo. Gus is great, she has a real fight to her and a sublime spark, the way she is wrote shows us so many facets of her personality, the professional side that she shows in court and then the compassionate and caring side when dealing with the animals, and I’m not just talking about the bunnies. Marshall is a man of many dilemmas, he wants rid of the island and when you get to know the history you understand why that is, but dilemmas are meant to dealt with and you can’t wait for him to get straight. This was a great story and one I have enjoyed from the first page to the last.

Marshall Dyson and Augusta/Gus North meet when Marshall , a builder who is ready to work on an island project, is forced to go to court when Gus, a veterinarian representing the American Bunny League, is there to stop his project. The reason, there are over 200 bunnies on the island that need to be caught and given new homes. Needless to say that even though the chemistry is instantaneous, neither is happy with the other one. When the judge forces them to work together on the island, they decide to make a contract. No kissing or sex during the weeks they are working together. Aside from that storyline, it’s a story about family or lack thereof. Of how sometimes those who are suppose to love you, instead destroy you emotionally and sometimes the damage is felt for the rest of ones life. For me it was more of a 3.5 star story. At times it dragged and though I loved Marshall, Gus was just ok. I was entrusted a copy of this book by Netgalley and Entangled Publishing. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

With such an outrageous premise, I wouldn't have touched this book if it hadn't been written by Amy Andrews. I know I can trust her intelligence and that she will not fall prey to the pitfalls of the genre. In the hands of a lesser writer, this romcom could have devolved into a ridiculous and preposterous farce. It doesn't take a genius to figure out how it will go, but it's how we get there that makes all the difference, and this is where Ms.Andrews' skills shine. THE KISSING CONTRACT is original and clever, and much of the first third is truly side-splitting. Trust Amy Andrews to write a charming, sexy, and sweet story based on wrangling bunnies! Even more surprising, where I'm concerned, is that the segments with the bunnies were wildly entertaining, and that they were essential in advancing the plot. The writing is effortless and smooth, as the author navigates calm seas and tempestuous waters with the same ease: snarky banter and emotional exchanges are equally compelling and genuine. Gus and Marshall are technically enemies, but in fact they get along well; the banter is lighthearted teasing rather than hurtful barbs. I also appreciated that their voices are as distinctive as their personalities, even if the book is written in third person POV. There were a few typos, which I hope will be caught before the final version is published, particularly this one: "Accept clearly not", which had me scratching my head for a moment; it should be "Except clearly not". THE KISSING CONTRACT is a slow burn, maybe a little too slow. With all the buildup, I felt the "big moment" was anticlimactic and not the romantic scene I expected. Gus' concerns were legitimate, Marshall needed to deal with his issues, and I was somewhat disappointed that this was handled mostly off-page. In the end, especially with regard to an element in the epilogue, I wasn't convinced that Marshall, as adorable as he was, was a sure thing for the long haul, judging from what I saw, not what I was told.

Loved this book!!! It's funny, sweet, and just a bit poignant. At times I literally laughed out loud. I loved Marshall and only wish I could see the photo of him with Thumper. ... Gus is the pretty vet that sees herself as a bunny rescuer/wrangler/doctor. When she goes to Marshall's island to gather the bunnies before Marshall begins a major building project, neither has any use for the other. However, by working together, and through a whole bunch of bad bunny jokes, they start to fall for each other. What follows is a thoroughly entertaining and non-traditional wooing. If you enjoy your romance with humor, you will love this book. The author is on my must read authors' list. If you're a fan of the genre, she should probably be on your must read list too. Put this one at the top of your TBR list

This right here is my kind of read. It is the most entertaining book I have ever read. Yes, it is that good. I spent half of the time reading this book laughing and the other half, squirming in my seat. It made me cry, it filled me up and left me unbelievably happy. This Enemies to Lovers trope is one of my favorite tropes and this one was simply fantastic! It was one of those books I picked up and pretty much didn’t put back down until it was over, because I was so hooked. But that is what Amy Andrews’ books tend to do to me. I am so glad that I found her stories.... I loved these characters, they were such fantastic characters, so full and rich with goodness and so attracted to one another. Their interactions were so full of sass, romance, and underlying passion as well as panty melting chemistry. I could feel their attraction and loved their heat. I thought Marshall was the sweetest man, thoughtful, and caring and oh so sexy! Loved Augusta “Gus” and how she tried to keep her walls up, so independent and fierce with such a soft heart inside. Her outfits and the sayings on them were to die for and so clever. This story was so hot, funny, sweet, and romantic. It left me with a smile on my face and joy in my heart, as well as being a new bunny lover for giving us this Epically Amazing book. LOL! LOVED IT!!!!! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

With a grin on my face and a smile in my heart, I gave myself over to the force that is Amy Andrews and lost my head in the process. Marshall and Gus are at odds over an island. For Marshall it holds painful memories. For veterinarian, Dr. Augusta (Gus) North it's home for over 200 adorable bunnies. Can a court order and a mischievous, yet cuddly group of rabbits, spell the beginning of an ever after kind of love for two stubborn hearts? Hold on to your hearts cause The Kissing Contract, just may still them away.
