I was sooo glad that there was another book after The Demon Bride. There still seemed to be more story to tell, and while The Last Dragon isn't a romance, it really completed the series and the romances from the first three books as well. The story tells us of the coming of the dragons, what it means to all the races, and the history of earth, hell and heaven. Quite a lot to fit into one book. Since there is so much going on there was a lot of jumping around. There were a few times that it got confusing, but Dianna Hardy did a great job of merging the stories together in an easy to follow type of way. I was surprised at how everything was wrapped up and amazed at how inventive her story ended. It was not what anyone in the book (or the reader) expected.
Live the whole series :-). I really hope that she continues with this story line for a few books. Hint, hint. lol Well worth reading, lovable and relatable characters. I highly recommended reading all three books in order because this book may leave you with more questions than answers. Overall awesome! Looking forward to more by this author
Dianna Hardy The Last Dragon A spin-off novel to The Witching Pen Novellas I loved the Witching Pen novellas, and this book ended it perfectly, with just enough info at the end to let your imagination take it wherever you wanted it to. The characters each had their own place, which fitted perfectly into the story, and each piece of the puzzle slowly slotted into place leaving no questions unanswered. I loved how the author alternated the different story lines contained within the book, and this just made the book even more gripping. It’s impossible to write an in-depth review without any spoilers, so I’ll keep it brief, it’s fast paced, full of action, flowed effortlessly and will keep you completely captivated from start to finish. I received an e-copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.
