Emily Haversson has a mystery on her hands.

Historical researcher, Emily Haversson, and Mr Bumble (the cat)are at heritage site, Larch Hall, to go through some old records. They've only been there a day, when Emily discovers an old love letter that contains cryptic clues to a 'legacy of love' buried in the garden at Larch Hall.

She approaches the head gardener, Rob, to see what he makes of the clue, but he expressly forbids her from digging up the garden. The next morning, he discovers soil and lavender bushes strewn everywhere, and immediately accuses Emily.

Only she knows the truth...

Someone else is hunting for the secret hidden beneath the lavender of Larch Hall!

I have just read several of your stories and really loved them...I especially like your style and the lack of what seems to be so rampant in so many books..the foul language and all the graphic sex. Your writing is so vivid and riveting it is a pleasure to read. Keep up the good work.

Typos, missing words & commas slow the reading, but a good story! Love the cat!

Enjoyable read

This was a very entertaining, short story about an historical researcher who takes a job at Larch Hall to organize and research the old papers that had been found in a dusty old cupboard/office. It’s quite good despite it’s short length and could quite possibly have been extended to a full book. I’m looking forward to the next one and hope it is longer.

This is a peek into England's horse shows. What a twist! I could almost smell the hay, horses and leather. Romani's mother ought to have to marry that obnoxious Russell. Serve her right! I look forward to the next book in the series.
