: The Lawman's Convenient Bride - The Bravo's of Justice Creek Book 7 Author: Christine Rimmer Publisher: Harlequin Special Edition Published: 4-18-2017 Genre: Contemporary Romance Sub-Genre: Series; ISBN: 9780373623440 ASIN: B01M61SY3L Reviewed For NetGalley and Harlequin Reviewer: DelAnne Rating: 4.75 Stars FIRST COMES MARRIAGE Feisty, fearless Jody Bravo's set to do everything for her baby. She doesn't need anything from anyone—especially the stepbrother of her baby's late father. But lawman Seth Yancy won't leave her to face parenthood alone, no matter how prepared she is. And even though Jody resists, soon she's taken in completely by his charms—and agrees to be his wife… THEN COMES LOVE? Hunky Sheriff Yancy's not without his fair share of admirers in Justice Creek. After a terrible tragedy years before, though, he's faced life alone. Now the real-life woman of his dreams just happens to be his bride—and pregnant with the child of his heart, if not his reality. So "father" is a role that will come naturally to Seth. And will "husband" really be that far behind? Talk about protective custody! Sheriff Seth Yancy's way is something Jody Bravo is willing to take a chance on. Strong independent characters bound by honor and a desire to protect and love the child Jody carries. A story of the heart and its capacity to love, forgive and always has room for more to reside there. Ms. Rimmer gives a story of laughter, tears; sorrow and joy and most of all love. Well written and reads quickly and smoothly scene to scene. My rating of "The Lawman's Convenient Bride" is 4.75 out of 5 stars.

The Lawman's Convenient Bride by Christine Rimmer Jody Bravo and Seth Yancy I really enjoyed the story of Jody Bravo and Seth Yancy. They had a lot of different things to overcome to become first friends and then fall in love. She was pregnant by his brother and he didn't know and once he found out he wanted to be involved. She thought he was standoffish and he proved that he wasn't by keeping trying to get her to let him help. I really enjoyed the way this story was written. I totally recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a good book to relax you. I love books about babies.

"Sometimes there are books that completely surprise you with the characters personalities. In this one, you have Seth Yancy, who is a like a dream come true in a man and most woman would love to have. He has values, morals, and just knows to do the right thing no matter what. Then you have Jody. A do it yourself type of woman that hates to ask for help and just does most everything herself. Throw a baby in the mix, that just happens to be Seth's niece and you have an interesting fast read that is perfect for a quick book escape. I loved this book."

I just loved this book!!! In The Lawman's Convenient Bride by Christine Rimmer, we are yet again visiting The Bravo's of Justice Creek. Jody Bravo is eagerly anticipating the birth of her baby when Sheriff Seth Yancy discovers that his late brother is her baby's father. Seth's grief and longing won't allow him to walk away from Jody or her sweet baby.
Jody quickly discovers that raising a baby on her own is not as easy as she thought it would be and that Seth is more then just then just a helpful uncle. Jody is a strong, independent women who feels like love has passed her by. Seth is a wonderful, honorable man and he believes that he has already has his one shot at true love and will never know love again.
Jody and Seth are compelling characters that you can easily relate to. They are both sympathetic and memorable. Seth is a handsome, sexy lawman searching for happiness and Jody is a self sufficient woman who believes that she will always be on her own. I loved both of these characters and was cheering on their romance throughout the novel.
I cannot recommend The Lawman's Convenient Bride by Christine Rimmer enough. I could not put this book down and read it in one day! Seth's and Jody's romance is both sexy and captivating. You will be cheering Seth and Jody on as they overcome sadness, heartbreak, and fear to find true love. I just love Christine Rimmer's writing and her wonderful Bravo series! I can't wait for the next Bravo romance!

The Lawman’s Convenient Bride is Christine Rimmers’s seventh book in the Bravos of Justice Creek series. This is a standalone book but I suggest reading the other stories just for backstory alone. I was immediately drawn to both characters, but especially Seth. He’d been through a traumatic incident that affected how he lived his life. I enjoyed watching Jody melt his heart and help him learn to move on past his loss. This was a fast read that I read in one sitting. Ms. Rimmer never disappoints in her story telling. I highly recommend reading The Lawman’s Convenient Bride. You won’t be disappointed.

Another great addition to the Bravos series. I love the fact that an independent woman can find the man of her dreams! This book had me cheering for Jody and Seth. Although Seth did need some convincing to take a leap of faith and follow his heart. Can't wait for the next addition of this story line. If you are looking for a great read then pick up a copy of this book today. You won't be sorry!!

Love, Love, Love Christine Rimmer and the Bravo's. This is a book about finding love after you lost love and never thought it was possible to love again. It is also about not settling for anything less than love, no matter how much you love the other person. It is also about becoming a blended family. The Bravo series never disappoints and I love how Rimmer keeps character's from previous stories involved. This book, pulls at all of your heart strings, I laughed, cried, was angry and as always was happy with the ending.

Unlikely love takes us on a rollercoaster of emotions in Christine Rimmer's latest! Very relatable characters bring this story to life. We are taken into the heart of what it's all about very quickly, and then we get some additional development to the story as we find out more about their past experiences and relationships. I think you'll find yourself rooting for that happily-ever-after right along with me by the time the end rolls around! Sheriff Seth Yancy is equally shocked and delighted when he finds out that Jody Bravo will soon be giving birth to his step-brother's baby. His little brother was the apple of his eye, and Seth was devastated when he was killed several months back. To hear that a piece of him will live on pleases Seth to no end, and he wants to make sure he's a part of it! Florist Jody Bravo is a hard-working, self-reliant woman, and she likes to feel like she has everything under control. She wasn't planning on a baby right now, but she's happy enough with the timing and believes she's ready to be a Mom. When Seth comes to see her, she reluctantly agrees to keep him up-to-date with how she's doing until the baby is born ... but as he's a virtual stranger to her, it all feels a bit odd. Seth eases himself into her inner realm anyway, and she has to admit that he's there for her when she needs him, and she's actually liking having him in her life. When attraction rears it's head, how will they pursue a relationship to go along with this ready-made family? Past secrets live in between them, but will they get all they ever wanted by simply believing?

What a fun continuation of the Justice Creek Bravos! I had an early attachment to Jody (must be the flowers) and was patiently waiting for her happily ever after! I enjoyed the short journey of their romance. I just wished the story could have been longer, I wanted more...If you like this authors past books, then this one will not disappoint.
