Salena Martell is a fairly young woman who has just received her PhD in marketing. She struggled for a job in her field for a while before finally getting a job in one of the largest corporations on the east coast, Bryson Enterprises. She is invited in by the CEO himself, Cade Bryson, on her first day of work, after expecting a sweet old man, she is surprised to meet a young, charismatic, good-looking man running the company.
