I enjoyed reading this book, it was a little different but I just LOVED the way Emily wrote it! Delaney and Reid had great chemistry and seemed to fit together perfectly! There are quite a few things that didn’t really get explained in this book, but I’m hoping that they get explored in the next book! There is a lot going on in this book, but the way its written keeps you intrigued and constantly draws you in. I didn’t put it down once I started reading, it was just that good! I am totally looking forward to reading the next book!! *I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for a fair and honest review.*

First in a trilogy .. an author I haven’t read before & a genre which could go either way for me depending on the writing style, content, pace etc. The story was fairly basic, but moved along at a comfortable pace, a little drawn out in places but the hot scenes made up for that. I found I had to really concentrate to suspend my disbelief .. if I read it logically it would have been fairly annoying as a subject but by allowing my imagination to flow I could almost see where the author was coming from, that didn’t make it a very relaxing read though & I’m not sure I would choose to read the next in the series but that is simply personal preference & not a criticism of the book. This is aimed at a younger audience & if you are into witches, fantasy, romance then it would be ideal. I have to say the cover is simply stunning & I’m sure a lot of people would pick the book up based on that alone. Thanks to the author & Pure Textuality for the opportunity to read this in exchange for my honest opinion.
