Ramon Delgado is a beginner soccer player or Futbal as it is known in Costa Rica. Ramon befriends an American Steve Carpenter and has Steve helps him to become a better player. While practicing at Ramon's school, the school administrator see them and comes out to talk wtih them. Steve has sufficient credentials and is hired as the schools futbal coach.
Ramon joins other players at the team try-outs and is selected. Will Ramon and the team make it to the play-offs and into the championship match? After the school's season is over, Ramon is invited to play on a special team and Steve is asked to help coach. Will this team succeed? There is plenty of soccer action as Ramon and the team try to advance to the playoffs.

About the Author

Before starting his writing career, Tecumapese Morning Star, Tec to his friends, he was an elementary school librarian and teacher. After leaving the education field, he was employed in the fast-food industry, the hospitality industry, and the retail industry. Tec is a graduate of the Institute of Children’s Literature. Has a diploma for writing for Children from the Stratford Career Institute and has a diploma in freelance writing from the Penn Foster Distant Learning Center. He has one son and three grandchildren. Tec in his free time practices and teaches karate. He holds the rank of Soke, tenth-degree black belt. He also has a Doctor of Philosophy in Martial Arts and Sciences. He also holds third and fourth-degree ranks in two other styles. Tec is also a certified United States Soccer Federation Referee. Tec and his family are of Native American descent and enrolled members of the Appalachian Shawnee Tribe.
