Keith is 19 and living in London. It is shortly after the death of John Lennon and the city is in mourning. Keith lives in a boarding house under the watchful eye of Eileen, a 60-something dancer still dreaming of fame in the musicals. He develops a troubled friendship with Peter, the son of a wealthy businessman who is slumming it for a year.
