This book is very interesting for people of all ages. So many of us can relate to parts of all of the characters. And the town of Mineral Wells is simply amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, and cant wait for #2! You rock *Neil Patrick Harris*!!!

I first started listening to this on audio and the audio wasn't working for me, as there is a lot going on in this book. There are pages between the chapters that have illustrations and instructions on how to do some simple tricks that need to be read. With that being said, I really enjoyed reading this book, it was fun, adventurous, light-hearted, and I love the misfits. I did think the whole carnival thing was a little bit creepy though. I also really loved the plot-twist. I love reading middle-grade every now and then as it's refreshing. I'll definitely be reading the second book when it is published.
