Can she save her company or is it all for nothing? I thoroughly enjoyed reading The Marrying Type by Laura Chapman. It caught me on page one and hooked me. It is one of those books that I just couldn’t put down, partly because there was something happening on every page and partly because it was so well written. There are lots of characters in the story and each one is very well developed, to the extent that I felt I knew them personally by the end of the book. Each one fitted nicely into the story and came together to create a cast that was made for the story. I thought the story line was very well thought out and it flowed naturally, with no hiccups and no dead ends. Excellent story; I will definitely be looking for more by Laura Chapman.

What an amazing read from beginning to attend. It had my attention everyday and it took only a few to read it. (Even while I was at work) It takes place is the amazing southern city of Charleston, South Carolina. Elliot has been working with the family business for quite some time and has no realized they are in quite some trouble financially. Her father has poorly run the company for years and if she wants to save her families home as well as their business she needs to act quickly. She was approached by a friend to do a reality TV show call "The Marrying Type" and she DOES NOT want to go there. But then, she realizes that amount of money they are willing to pay could save the family home as well as business. She reluctantly says yes. Then it happens, she has been asked to plan her ex-fiance's sisters wedding. What can she do? She can't say no, it's an amazing account for her business. But then he will be there every step of the way. So many twists and turns to this story for dealing with her ex, a very load and crazy bridesmaid, a trip to jail and so much more! The stress just keeps mounting for Elliot, will she make it to the wedding day in one piece or alive for that matter?
