I read this many years ago in college after meeting Billy while training at Athens. It is astonishing reading.

I heard about this book in psychology class and ordered it the same day. I ended up reading it in 1 day. I just could not put it down. This story of everything that this man went through and how the human mind copes with the most horrible things people can do to each other is extraordinarily written.

I have read this books over an over every year  til its was lost in a move ... To read this book of a troubled young man that  went though so much in his life that his mind had to make other s to deal with it , makes  my heart bleed for every child that has to go though any abuse that their mind can not handle it , and make other that can... Billy if you read this I hope you are doing well with your new life  and know that you are not alone every. and that your story of your life helped me help others like your self before it was to late for them...

I was forced to read it in a psyc. class during college and it took me only a couple of days to read because it was so interesting. I recommend it for anyone who is interested in the human brain and multiple personality disorder. From what I heard in my psyc class, Billy is in a mental hospital up north undergoing treatment. He got out of the ward and returned himself because of his overwhelming inability to deal with his many minds...

I read this book ten times before losing it in a move about seven years ago. Each time I read it I get sucked back in and I always seem to learn something new. It's like having a map in a web of chaos.

This was a wonderful book I could not put it down. I read it all in a week. It was intreging to learn how someone could actually go through all the stuff Billy went through it makes me want to give him a hug.

I was pulled into this book and into Billy's life. For many reasons I felt sorry for Billy and the torture the multi-persona's put him through. The madness is like a maze in the book.

I found myself rooting for Billy despite all the things he did. The story of his life is really fascinating. You really sympathize with him and want him to find his way through all the madness.
