The Occidentalist

A young, ambitious archeologist, Malcolm, is hired to lead a new archaeological expedition into French Morocco, but an old menace from his past begins challenging his role, forcing him to rethink everything. Now forced to work together, despite their mutual animosity, Malcolm struggles to accept the very man who ruined his past and turns to another member for moral support and guidance, a highly regarded, middle-aged explorer who is quick to befriend him.
