About the Author

Cynthis Lauri was born in a small town along the banks of the Ohio River on the outskirts of Pittsburgh, PA and reared in an Italian-American home where the emphasis was on food. Her lifelong battle with weight began at the age of twelve and continued throughout her life. As a former aspiring opera singer and a Fine Arts graduate of a prestigious University, she struggled with finding a niche for herself. She decided to share her story of how being obsessed with looking for “Mr. Right” in all the wrong places derailed her and was a recipe for disaster. She learned the hard way, that in the end, it’s best to focus on your true path, and let love find you.
