About the Author
Glynnis was once in an all-girl band on CBS Records and has done voiceovers for the MTV series "The Maxx," Diablo and Starcraft videogames, and Star Wars audio adventures. She makes her home in Los Angeles with her high school sweetheart/rock star husband and loves playing medieval matchmaker, transporting readers to a place where the bold heroes have endearing flaws, the women are stronger than they look, the land is lush and untamed, and chivalry is alive and well.

I enjoyed this book very much
A great story of a hero disfigured by war and a heroine who helps heal not just his body, but his honor and his heart.
Characters believable nice short read
Would highly recommend this sweet, insightful story of redemption, and love. A real page turner, I only wish it was longer.
So, let me say upfront, this is a positive review. (yay!!! I finally read a book I liked!) The Outcast was a well told story from beginning to end, and though it was a quick read it was a thorough read. Nothing felt rushed about it. I loved that the characters made sense!! Our female lead was a strong, smart female lead. Hats off to an author who knows how to actually write a woman who is not an idiot or a shrew. Our hero, was tortured came off as utterly human, sympathetic and lovable. I won't hesitate to pick up another book by Glynnis Campbell. If you looking for a quick read to curl up with on the couch, this is a good bet. Pages on my Nook: 121
