The Painted Pilgrim is an adventure story about a large, shocking pink dog who shows up at the door of "Give Me Shelter" dog shelter. His name is Pellegrino. Zuki is the director of "Give Me Shelter" and chooses the name because Pellegrino means "a traveler from afar".
