About the Author

M. Ganendran began writing as a child and hasn't stopped since, except for tea breaks, naturally. She is still rather proud of winning school prizes when she was ten for Creative Writing and Imagination, thanks to various English homework submissions involving colourful elephants, moles living on the moon, and a megalomaniac slug. More recently, she has been shortlisted for several short story and flash fiction competitions. She now writes mystery and adventure novels for children and young adults, often with a hint of the historical and supernatural. In her spare time, she enjoys walks in nature, mindfulness, meditation and reiki. She also has Crohn's Disease which inspired her to write Sim's Magic Windmill, where the young heroine lives with this condition too, but doesn't let it stop her saving the world...

Prash Ganendran is a British investigative researcher and writer known for the immersive true crime podcast 'Prash's Murder Map'. From the time he first stumbled across a book on Jack the Ripper in his local library as a child, he has been captivated by mysteries - and not just the morbid kind!

One of his previous jobs as a Cisco Network Engineer took him to some notorious high security prisons, including one housing Suffolk Strangler Steve Wright, further sparking his interest in true crime. His experience in fraud investigation also refined his critical thinking, troubleshooting, and evidence assessment skills: all vital for true crime analysis.

He is passionate about the psychological aspects of crime and understanding what factors create a killer. In his spare time, he enjoys visiting historic sites, photography, connecting with nature, and planning the perfect murder...
