I wasn't able to put it down once I started. I don't usually read straight romance novels and have never been interested in "The Bachelor" type shows, but this book was a nice stray from my norm. I stumbled across Ms. Foss at a book release party for another author and her book blurp drew me in enough to buy the book. Sarah and Evan drew me in. The characters were well developed and the story flowed well. The ups and downs were intricate and kept you wanting more. Sarah's sarcasm and wit are fun and refreshing. Evan is hot and fighting to keep his life under a semblance of normal despite being forced onto a dating show. The attraction is almost immediate, though they fight it! Good from beginning to end!

The Prince's Game is a new spin on an old trope and the author nails it! Evan Mershano is wealthy but has seen his parents farce of a marriage and so has no interest in the institution. Unfortunately there is that pesky clause that says his parent can take the family business away and give it to someone else if he isn’t married by a certain age. That date is creeping closer so he agrees to be on a reality dating show. Sarah Summers has a life plan. She has been working toward owning her own marketing company someday. To do that she will need references and experience. Taking time off for a dating show is not in her plans. When her twin sister sets her up she has to go. She never expected Evan Mershano. While the plot is predictable the author makes it so much fun you enjoy the trip anyway.

5 Stars Because of Abs! This is the second book by Lexi C. Foss’s that I have had the pleasure to read. The Prince’s Game is quite different from her first book, Blood Laws, which shows the range of skills this new author has. The Prince’s Game is a perfect sweet romantic read for anyone who enjoys The Bachelor or the show Unreal. If you are not a TV fan you might end up watching these shows after reading The Prince’s Game to get over your book hangover. Evan is hot and Sarah is smart, the perfect book couple to read about. A five-star read because well…abs.
