The Pursuit of Holiness: Sanctified Living

When we first sought the Lord for the salvation of our souls, we attained what we sought because we acknowledged that we were broken (sinful) people. We were desperate for the Lord's forgiveness and confessed that Jesus Christ was the only Person who could save us from our sins. What it took for us to be saved initially is what it will take for us to be sanctified: the grace of Almighty God, the enabling power of the Holy Spirit, and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
