About the Author

Brian Franks has been writing poetry since 2003 when he discovered the potential of poetry as a form of expression. He used poems to mark important events in his walk with God, to cry out to God in trial and challenge, and to consider what others were facing in life. The Raging Sea is the compilation of those writings. Besides poetry, Brian has written numerous articles for magazines over the years on spiritual topics. He is married with two sons and two daughters. Brian loves being in God’s nature and has served in Christian ministry since 2003.
