I loved seeing Devlin and Justin meet, and become The Righteous. But I didn't expect to see Morrigan and Cullen again-a bit of a treat, that. Justine is an opera singer in Paris, and former courtesan to both King Louis XIV 's and King Charles. A beautiful, talented woman, who was very dangerous. Devlin watches Justine take out 3 vampires who are killing a human as they feed from her, and he is more than intrigued, he feels alive for the first time since, well, since he'd been alive ;) I wish we had gotten more of their courtship before she was turned, and the fall-out of that decision. But I absolutely LOVED the ending scene with Cullen and Morrigan, though. I think I am in love with Cullen. Note-you don't need to have read the Cin Craven series to follow this one, it's a stand-alone, but at the same time, it added a new layer to Justine and Devlin I hadn't seen before.
