About the Author

Robert Savage is a Yorkshire-born travel writer who now resides in St Petersburg, Florida, via way of Durham Universityunder the tutelage of Chancellor Bill Bryson and a ten-year stint in London. Robert authored guidebooks on Sheffield and Windsor, and contributed to The Guardian, Le Monde and Der Spiegel, before hopping the pond to embrace all things Floridian. You can find his works in the permanent collections of the British Library, and Oxford and Cambridge Universitylibraries. When he's not on the road chasing a commission with his beloved corgi Rufus, you'll find Robert cocktailing in London with his lifelong friends from the British Guild of Travel Writers.
