Ephraim Hanks was a man of faith. In the winter of 1856, the frontiersman received a revelation from the Lord. Obedient to the promptings of the Spirit, Ephraim set out into the frozen mountains to aid the stranded Martin Handcart Company, trusting that God would guide his steps. This is that story.
