What People are Saying About This

Lynn Nordhagen

Elisabeth Leseurs example of courageous generosity can strengthen every marriage, whether healthy or troubled. With lustrous humility and grace, she lights our way toward holiness in marriage, effective prayer for our loved ones, and the heights of personal sanctity.
— Lynn Nordhagen, Author, When Only One Converts

Robin Maas

No spiritual writer has taught me more than this French housewife about the sanctifying power of the sacrament of marriage, especially those unions that for one reason or another might be labeled difficult. A true spiritual sister of St. Thrse of Lisieux, Elisabeth Leseur discovered and practiced her own Little Way - a form of sacrificial love and asceticism uniquely suited to the domestic context.
— Robin Maas, John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family

Dwain Esper

A profound self-portrait of a soul molded and transformed by divine grace. If St. Augustines Confessions is analogous to the sun - bright, powerful, and penetrating - then Elisabeth Leseurs Secret Diary is like the moon: soft, friendly, and enchanting in its spiritual beauty.
— Fr. Joseph Esper, Author, of Saintly Solutions

This book imparts a sense of hope in a world increasingly bereft of solid Catholic Christian values. Elisabeth lived in a spiritually negative atmosphere, yet rose to spiritual heights, and inspired her husband to do the same. It is a volume to return to again and again.

This is such a good book. If you are looking for a good spiritual, uplifting book then this is for you. I feel like I know Elisabeth. I'm so glad I bought it and I plan on reading it over again. I couldn't put it down and took it with me every week to Adoration Chapel! Pray for Elisabeth's canonization!
