About the Author

BROOKE TRIBBEY was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She attended Baylor University where she received her degree in Education. She spent many years teaching fourth graders her first love, the joy of writing. THE SENSATIONAL SIMON SCRIBBLE was written for her students, and colleagues, as a gift.

She currently teaches first grade in the San Antonio area and lives with her husband, daughter, and son. This is her first children's book available to the public.

This story exemplifies great creative writing! It is great for children and adults alike, reminding us how important using our creativity is...particularly in an age of video games. I loved it and will recommend it to every parent and teacher I know.

This story is fun to read for children and adults alike. See the progression of Simon's interest as his creativity and confidence is awakened. Personal creativity wins out over mindless high tech games, Yea!!
