The Shifter's Mate has a NEW COVER, but don't worry - the same story inside.
Reese Warren knew she should never have gone out to investigate that glowing orb in her back yard. Curiosity killed the cat, as her mother always said. And while her curiosity may not have gotten her killed, it's certainly changed her life forever. Sucked into another world, she's held captive in a compound with dozens of other women and a warden who auctions them off like their animals.
When she's bought by a wolf shifter and his pack mates as a potential mate for their cruel alpha, Reese flat out refuses to accept a life of forced marriage and pushing out wolf babies. She just has to ignore her ridiculous attraction to the arrogant shifter, Kane, and find a way to escape him before he delivers her to his alpha.
Kane hates humans. Humans murdered his parents in cold blood, and his loyalty to his alpha is the only reason he's bringing them into their pack. But he didn't count on his immediate attraction to the crazy human who speaks of a world filled with impossibilities.
He will not disobey his alpha's orders so why does his urge to claim Reese as his own mate increase with each passing day?
Author's Note: "The Shifter's Mate" is an individual story in the "Other World" series and you do not have to read Book One or Two in the series to understand the events of Book Three. However, reading Book One and Book Two will give you a better understanding of some of the characters in Book Three.
This book contains explicit and steamy sex scenes that may not be your cup of tea. It is intended for mature readers only.

Very good book. Not usually into this genre however I really like this authors style of writing. This story just captivates you. I red the first two books from this author and really enjoyed those. At first I was upset that this was a completely different story as I felt the last two was uncompleted, however, how she ties it in at the end was very clever. And I rather enjoyed the story of Kane and Reese as well. Now i'm just bummed I have to wait till winter for the next book!! Will definietly continue to read books from this author.
My first read by this author and it was only ok. The storyline was unique and interesting. The execution has problems. Reese is treated like crap through the whole book. Everyone abused her and she was cool with it. The sex was raunchy. Out of nowhere we're to believe it's love. The climax was built up through the entire book and summed up in three sentences. For real, three sentences. If I hadn't liked Reese and her with this book would be a zero. AND it looks like a trilogy book. No bueno.
