On June 22nd, 1918, an empty Michigan Troop Train barreled into the caboose of the stalled Hagenbeck-Wallace Circus train. Eighty-six people lost their lives on that day, among them, Baldy the Clown, his wife, and their young son. Deemed an accident, no one was ever held responsible for the tragedy.

On the centennial anniversary of the accident, Kristina, a photographer, is hired to cover a ceremony held at Showmen's Rest Cemetery, the final resting place of the train victims...
