Where the past and future converge...
With a turn of the wheel and a spin of the cog, the oracular machinery lumbers into action. The curtains slowly draw back; the time has come to reveal your destiny.
Created by award-winning tarot expert Barbara Moore and brilliantly brought to life by artist Aly Fell, The Steampunk Tarot deck offers a glimpse of the future through a lens to the past. Retooling the gears of the Rider-Waite tradition, each card's intricate artwork depicts a scintillating fusion of man and machine, nature and technology, science and alchemy, romance and fashion. The included manual offers tips, original spreads, and guidance in card interpretation.

About the Author
In the early 1990s, at a party, someone put a tarot deck in Barbara's hands; she's held on tightly ever since. Tarot provides just enough structure so that we don't get lost as we explore the mysteries, plumb our dark corners, and locate our North Stars.
Barbara has been reading and writing for as long as she can remember. She's published a number of books on tarot, including Tarot for Beginners , Tarot Spreads , The Steampunk Tarot , The Gilded Tarot , The Mystic Dreamer Tarot , and Tarot of the Hidden Realm . Writing is solitary work and is relieved by teaching tarot at conferences around the world. Barbara also loves working directly with clients, helping them uncover guidance and insight in the cards.
Aly Fell is a UK-based illustrator with over 20 years experience in publishing, animation, and games.~

I loved the concept of these cards and the deck is beautiful. Unfortunately, the deck is a very low grade card stock and the images are streaky. The book was awesome and provided very insightful detail, but as tarot card collector I was very disappointed with the quality of the cards. All in all, I would give the book a 5 and the cards a 2.
As always, Barbara Moore delights and teaches, as well as tantalizes with her words. Aly Fell's imagery is breathtaking! If you LOVE Steampunk and Tarot, this is a great addiction to your collection!
This deck is gorgeous, and the accompanying book very thoughtfully written. Fully recommended for tarot and steampunk lovers alike!
