Summit of Seduction In this book, Seth is a confirmed bachelor, he can't settle down and doesn't want to. That all changes after a one night stand with a sassy little red head. Cynthia normally doesn't do one night stands but there is something about Seth that she just can't stay away from. Cynthia is busy between work and taking care of her sick mom and soon finds out she is carrying Seth's child. She also falls in love with a mother dog and her new litter of puppies. She has so much on her plate and can't imagine adding Seth to the mix, but the pull between these 2 is just to strong to deny. You will be hooked from the first page and find yourself loving everyone. I hated seeing the book come to an end and can't wait for it to pick up where it left off! Summit of Desire Malcom is opening up his ski resort and is thrilled but incredibly busy. He wants everything to be perfect, who wouldn't?! His girl friend Kylie is doing her best to be enthusiastic and helpful but is feeling neglected. Kylie also wants a chance at life to support herself and not be just taken care of by a man, but a few snide comments from Malcom has her re-thinking the relationship all together. Marcus, who is Malcom's brother and Kylies ex boyfriend shows up for the opening of the resort and happens to be in the wrong, or maybe the right place at the wrong time. One thing leads to another and no one knows what to do. Summit of Passion Deanna and Marcus find themselves back in the springs but for very different reasons. They had a past together that could have really turned into something but the rough ending to their relationship has left a lot to be desired. Deanna has no reason to be in Cedar Springs other than to fill in for her dad and get out. Her parent's want her to stay but she can't imagine living in a small town and being a doctor to a town that never has any excitement. Marcus is back taking some time away from hitting the slopes. His brother and friends could really use his help and support on the hill and Marcus is happy to do so until Deanna returns. I don't want to say to much and ruin the story but so much happens and you wont be able to put the book down! I loved it from the very first page as I do with all of Elena's books.
Elena Aitkens never disappoints! I've had the opportunity to only read two of the stories in this collection, but I'm definitely looking forward to reading the third one. In Summit of Desire Malcolm is beyond thrilled that all of his hard work to make his dream come true is finally happening. With a huge party to not only bring in the New Year, but to celebrate the grand opening of Stone Summit Ski Resort. He was flying high with all of the excitement and busyness. Kylie, Malcolm's girlfriend wasn't having the same response. She was happy that everything that Malcolm wanted and worked so hard to get was taking shape, but she felt like her life made no sense. What had happened with her dreams? Her wishes? And her desires? Somewhere in the course of her life and getting involved with Malcolm something went missing and she wasn't sure that she was okay with it. Could she continue the way things were going and would she be happy doing so? Taking a break for Kylie was a period where she could think and wrap her mind around what she wanted in life without having to worry about Malcolm and what he always seemed to want or need, but for Malcolm it made him finally see how much Kylie actually was a part of his life and more determined to make sure that he did everything in his power to prove to Kylie how much he loved her and needed her in his life. In Summit of Seduction Seth manages the Stone Summit ski hill that Malcolm Stone owns. He's known for being a hard worker and a player in his dating life. He's not looking for long term, but something about Cynthia makes him rethink his wants and needs. Looking to the future seems to be more interesting now with the possibility of Cynthia in it. Cynthia is busy running her family market and taking care of her mother who is dying from Cancer. She doesn't have time for a serious relationship even though she wants the fairy tale husband, children and white picket fence. She finds herself drawn to Seth and on New Years she does something that she has never done. She threw caution to the wind and in spite of Seth's bad boy history spent the night with him. Now they can't seem to stay away from each other. When Cynthia needs Seth to step up and take responsibility and help her through a rough patch she is actually surprised that he does because Cynthia has no experience with that. Seth proves to her that he can be relied on and trusted when she needs him the most. Now all he has to do is prove to her is that he loves her and will be here for the long haul. I was given an ARC for an honest review. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.
