Nick and Raina may have hooked up under less than ideal circumstances, but the attraction between them is very real, and Malone does an exceptional job of working through the issues realistically and showcasing how two very different people can fall in love. This is book two in the Alexanders series, and although readers can easily acquaint themselves with the cast of characters, it's definitely worth starting at the beginning for the full effect.

I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about Nick when I started this book, because he was definitely not me favorite by the time I ended book one. But after the first couple chapters I had basically fallen in love with him, just as much I had with Jackson, Elliot, and Matt (so looking forward to their books). This is a wonderful continuation of a great family romance novel. I love this Nick character, he is grounded in family values, and sensitive without being completely whipped! Malone has created a family that you will want to follow to the end, and then wish there was more than four sons in the Alexander family. I love how she writes... I have read all of her books, however this series is the best. "The Things I Do for You" is a hit.
