I love this book. Larry Huch has done a wonderful job of delving into the Hebraic roots of Christianity. I think this is a must read for everyone who wants to understand the Feasts and Festivals of the Old Testament and how they tie into our Christian faith. This book reads almost like a novel,I couldn't put it down. I have gone back and re-read parts of it over again to fully grasp the truth about God's word and His instructions to His children. Pastor Huch writes this book in a manner that really lets you feel God's love for us when He instructed the children of Israel on how to conduct themselves and walk through this life in His blessings.

This is a well written book that encourages Christians to acknowledge and embrase their Jewish background. We need to learn about the traditions and holy festivals that help to bring us God's blessings. Many Christians no longer think about the Jewish roots of Christianity and therefore miss out on many blessings. Mr Huch has presented his arguments in a clear and understanding form. He has also included ways inwhich to bring the Christian belief of Jesus representing the Lamb of God into these traditions. Whether you are using this as a template to add Jewish traditions to your life style or as just a reference book, it is an interesting and informative book.

Nothing but name it and claim it fluff with a torah bow. Hashem is not a slot machine and mitvot aren't the coins you put in. Better book is Restoration by Lancaster.

Being a Christian, in my case a kind of Christian called Catholic,is in reality being a "Spiritual" Jew. Catholicism/Christianity is not a new religion, it is simply the original Jewish faith fulfilled in Messiah. The way to true and everlasting peace, is to see how God in the Bible is able to reconcile between Jew and Christian. We as Christians got pulled slowly away from the synagogue and Jerusalem to Rome. The Bile did not have a single verse calling the Christians to destroy Jews, the facts are - many Christian movements have always existed throughout history, these "spiritual" Jews followed the Bible, and not only were successful to make peace with the Jew, but aided them to obtain freedom at last. True Christianity will always reconcile between Jew and Gentile. But with this reconciliation always comes persecution and mock trials. Whatever Popes declared or Martin Luther wrote against the Jews was the works of their own hearts and had nothing to do with our Lord Yehoshua (Yeshua) Jesus. This book started me on that journey.

I respect Jews and look up to them, after all they were the first one to practice monotheism and are the reason for the Old Testament in the bible. Although, I must admit that I am a Christian (My mum is Protestant and my stepfather is Catholic, and my actual father isn't alive but the rest of my family are atheists....) and I believe that Jesus Christ has already come ,but I didn't write this to say which religion is wrong or right, because I feel that it is ok for you to be any religion you want Buddist,Christian,Jewish,Mormon,Muslim, anything at all. A religion is basically what u believe in to help u get through life. Yes, some were made before others, but I feel as if everyone needs a religion to help them with the tough and simple parts of life. Besides that I just want to say thank you so much to all Jewish people. Happy Hannukah and may Yahweh Bless you!!!!!!!!!!!!
